Agents of SHIELD- "Aftershocks" [SPOILERS UK]

This was very nice. After the excitement and drama of the mid-season finale, this was a nice step back from the HYDRA vs. SHIELD vs Inhumans intensity (though some sites see this more of a let down- what, your disappointed that these characters need to feel after the loss of a friend?).

I can't help but feel Raina (pictured above) kinda deserved what she got. She's angry and upset- but she dragged Skye into this whole mess, against her wishes, and was so eager (or brainwashed) to allow the change.. I mean, does no one think things through anymore?

Speaking of thinking things through, Simmons behaviour is getting more suspicious with every scene she's in. She's definitely been brainwashed by HYDRA- or so terrified that all common sense has fled her- with her talk of putting Raina down, and plagues.. Bobbi and Mack are also acting up (Mack moreso), though I don't get a HYDRA vibe from them. There's resentment on Mack's part, but none of the same "destroy all Inhumans" attitude we're getting from Simmons.

And poor Skye/Daisy. At least she got off lightly in the 'looks' department of the Inhuman genes, but I can't help thinking that she and Bruce Banner need to have a sit down about the whole "control" issue thing. Thank God for Fitz..

The highlight of this (and many other) episodes; Iain de Caestecker! You consistently feel for him, his struggle with his own forced change as well as the now rather big secret he's keeping for Skye. Seriously I grinned so wide when, after it seemed like he'd be dropping her in it with the rest of SHIELD, he quickly swaps test results for some of hers pre-Terrigenesis, releasing her from quarantine and potentially saving her life from the HYDRA spy! I'm eagerly awaiting the FitzSkye ship to set sail on Ao3!
