Harold Ramis, 1944-2014
To be honest, Nerdist says everything about this man a lot more eloquently than I could.
But Ghostbusters was my first film, the one that, as a child, I would watch every single time it came on tv. It gave me thrills and chills and had me howling with laughter. It spawned a sequel and a cartoon series that were staples to my childhood, and that is in no small part due to this man.
There are people who leave this world who I am, of course, sorry to see go.
But this one feels more personal to me than many others. It sounds silly but there you have it.
He'll always be one of the guys who showed that prehistoric b*tch how they do things downtown!
