So, a new movie trailer was released recently..

.. and caused a bit of a hoo-hah.

Yes the much maligned Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, has received a LOT of negative feedback from fans of the 80s, 00's and the 2012 cartoon and the various comics and original movies.

And why might that be?

Could it be Michael Bay's involvement? (yes apparently it is).
Could it be Megan Fox's involvement? (yep, that too).
Ah. No, I've got it! It's because of this;

The new-look Turtles themselves! Look at them, they have (whisper) noses!

Hang on. They DO exist. And without having been mutated from contact WITH A HUMAN, LIKE THE ORIGIN STORY ACTUALLY DESCRIBES.

^ Aww, lookit' his widdle nose.

If this is peoples biggest problem with the trailer then you're not giving it any sort of chance at all.
I get that a lot of fans were upset with Transformers (not really something I watched as a kid), but Bay isn't directing- he isn't even the only producer. And not even Megan Fox can truly ruin anything before it's even been finished or released.

And do you know what? I loved the Turtles as a kid, I'll hold my hands up and admit the new Nick cartoon version has me in stitches even now. I honestly have no problem with their new appearance.

To me that's still Mikey in the trailer. My mother recognised him as Mikey (having had to endure my early obsession with the show), so I think I'll wait until I've seen the finished product before I jump to too many conclusions thanks.

Besides, look at these cool posters!
